The Technokosmeda 5000X is not just a product, but a family of ultrasound devices and controllers designed to make skin look younger and healthier. The design was inspired by a client's request for a unique and aesthetic solution that is comfortable, smart, and simple to use. Bakunas' design approach involved a thorough analysis of competitor designs, numerous sketches, and a keen focus on minimalism and the harmonious combination of metal and plastic.
One of the unique features of the Technokosmeda 5000X is its trolley, designed to carry and control five ultrasonic devices. It comes equipped with a touchscreen for easy control of all functions. The trolley also provides space for essentials like oils and towels. Most notably, the design eliminates the need for wires thanks to Bluetooth technology, enhancing its aesthetic appeal.
The smaller device in the Technokosmeda 5000X family is designed for use in smaller clinics or even at home. It houses three ultrasonic heads and is as functional and aesthetically pleasing as its larger counterpart. The realization of these devices involved moulding and assembling parts using internal screws, die-casting metal components, and incorporating LED stripes to indicate different user modes.
The Technokosmeda 5000X is not only a testament to Bakunas' design prowess but also his commitment to research and innovation. The design process involved attending medical device exhibitions, conducting interviews with potential users, scientists, and engineers, and incorporating client feedback. The result is a design that is not only aesthetically pleasing but also user-friendly and technologically advanced.
The Technokosmeda 5000X has been recognized for its innovation and design excellence, winning the Golden A' Medical Devices and Medical Equipment Design Award in 2017. This prestigious award is granted to creations that reflect extraordinary excellence and significantly impact the world with their desirable characteristics. The Technokosmeda 5000X certainly fits this description, embodying a blend of art, science, design, and technology.
